Andrew Appel

In honor of the month of Valentine's, here's a list of some things that I love:

- Seeing raw, undeveloped talent
- The development process
- Watching models/talent achieve their goals
- Building relationships with agents and models

There are plenty of things that are unrelated to the development process that I love, but it's really important to love your work. I truly recognize how lucky I am to get to do a job that affects so many. It requires patience and a commitment to the models and talent who want to make their dreams come true.

Andrew Appel has been committed to this process since day one, and we have worked with him for several years, before the modeling world really started to take notice of him. He is an example of that raw, undeveloped talent--they could just take the modeling world by storm if they had the right guidance.

Today, Andrew is signed with Wilhelmina Models, thanks to our placement efforts and our commitment to strengthening his look and his confidence. He is one of the up-and-coming models that I enjoy having the privilege to work with, and now I can watch him succeed. Aside from his dedication to us, Andrew is an example of another part of this industry that is rarely spoken about: the beginning stages for hot talent! Finding a bright, fresh face who doesn't even know what kind of gift they possess, and helping to bring it out of them is a wonderful part of what we do every day.

Andrew is going to continue to do amazing things, because he loves this industry and I do, too.

Happy Valentine's Day!
